Day 2 of Vacation...fun in the sun!

I took a bunch of pictures on day 2. Between my phone and our camera so I thought I'd break it up into 2 different posts. On the 2nd day it started out pretty and then clouded up some so we drove to Lulu's for lunch. By the time we got back it was beautiful and we spent the rest of the day playing. Here are some pictures from the first part of the day.

Off to the beach we go...Day 1

Right after we wrapped up Emma's birthday party we were heading to the beach for the week. The weather was a bit nasty down there so instead of leaving Sunday and coming back Thursday we changed it and left Monday and came back Friday. We had so much fun this year and made a lot of fun memories. We decided to try out the Marriott Grand in Point Clear. It is on the bay but they have a beach area and they have an amazing pool with splash park and water slide. Here are some pictures from our first day.

We had so much fun our first day, I just didn't take a lot of pictures that day. I have plenty more from the rest of our trip though.

Emma's Spend the Night Party

I had so many pictures to share from her party I thought I'd break it up into 2 posts. We had so much fun with the little girls that stayed the night. We didn't go to bed till about midnight and were up by 6. I sure do wish I had their energy! Needless to say this momma was worn out by the end of the next day!

This picture is precious!! Brooks and Claire talking. At one point Claire's hair blew in her face and Brooks moved it out of the way. I think he liked Claire!

8 little girls are a whole lot of fun!! They sure did make me laugh!! I'm so thankful they got to spend the night with us to make Emma's 5th birthday something she will never forget!
