Happy Halloween

Today we had Emma's Halloween party at school. They had a pizza party and got to dress up. Here is my little cupcake.

Our attempt at a group shot of everyone in the class.

Me and Emma went to get Brooks out of his class so he could join the fun and he was riding the horse. He looked so confused to see us at first and then started giggling and bouncing!

They each got a pumpkin and a goody bag and had fun! Hope you have a Happy Halloween!

reCreate 2011

So last weekend was our big women's conference, reCreate, at church. It was my first time to go and it was AH-MAZING!!!! Friday night they kicked it off with some awesome worship music followed with the first guest speaker Christine Caine. She came all the way from Australia to speak. She is a member of the leadership team at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. She also directs Equip & Empower Ministries as well as founded the A21 campaign with her husband which is dedicated to human trafficking. I can honestly say I have never seen someone who has so much passion for helping and reaching others as she does. I could listen to her all day every day. She was JUST THAT GOOD!!!! After listening to her speak that night they ended with scarves for everyone, appetizers, sweets and fireworks. You could really tell the church put a lot of time and effort into the conference and it showed. I think I was so revved up from all of it and excited about Saturday that I hardly slept at all Friday night. Sounds kind of crazy huh?

Saturday we started the day by listening to the other speaker Kerri Weems. She is a pastor's wife from Celebration Church in Florida who has written the book Clueless (which I have started and it's very good) and also speaks at various conferences as well as ministers other people. Right before lunch, our pastor, Pastor Chris spoke. After we came back from lunch we were able to hear Christine again and then the conference ended with Kerri. It was truly an amazing weekend and I can't wait to go again next year.

Here are some pictures from the event.

When we pulled in Friday night they had guys all over the entrance and parking lot holding up signs saying "you are beautiful", "you are priceless", "you are loved". It was so funny and so sweet!

They had the church decorated so bright and colorful. I loved it!

They had a photo booth set up with props, it was so much fun. Here is Kristen, me and Amber

I hope you all have a church you love as much as I love mine!

First Auburn Game of the Year...

Once again I'm behind in blogging. These pictures are from before the game started when Emma and Brooks were playing 90 to nothing. They were so cute and SO into the game. Anytime me and Ben started yelling at the TV they would. Emma has asked all kinds of questions about the game itself. I'm really surprised at how much she's enjoyed it this year and last. Maybe one day we'll make it to a real game.

Our little Auburn fairy princess...

Brooks just got a haircut that Thursday before and he looks so much older now. Here here is our little Auburn football player...

Cutie pies...(this picture was taken with my phone, that's why it is a little blurry)

Say cheese Brooks...

Brooks' attention span doesn't last quite as long as Emma's during the game. Here he is concentrating on his picture he is coloring.

And when Auburn won, I turned around and found them jumping up and down, yelling "YAY AUBURN". It made me laugh so hard!

WAR EAGLE!!!
