Emma's 4 year checkup...

We went last Friday for Emma's 4 year check up finally. Our doctor said she was as healthy as she could be and we are so thankful! She weighs 43 lbs and is 43 inches tall. She's in the 90% for weight and 97% for height. She's still so tall and we can't believe it because me and Ben are just about average! She's our solid, strong willed beautiful little brown eyed girl and we love her oh so much!!

McWane Center

We bought a McWane membership a few months ago and have had so much fun using it. We went with our sweet friends Kristen, Julia, and Griffin several times already. This is from about a month ago but since I print this blog out to a book each year I wanted to make sure I got it. We stayed all day and had so much fun! We went another time with them and Brandy and Maddie but I forgot my camera! Here are a few pictures from our day.

Book Time...

Emma and Brooks LOVE the library and go about once a week. Here is Emma reading to Brooks some of their books they got from their first visit a few weeks back.

Emma's 4th Birthday Party...

We decided to have Emma's birthday party at the park this year. I'm not sure why it took me so long to decide but it did. It ended up all working out and being a great party. She decided well in advance she wanted a unicorn party. It was really cute and funny because I'm not sure where she got the idea. She requested a unicorn shirt, a unicorn cake and pin the tail on the unicorn which ended up being pin the horn on the unicorn. But since she started talking about the unicorn party months before she has decided that everyone (me, Ben, Brooks, Zoe, Nana, Nanny, etc) needs to have a theme party and she's picked out themes for each of us. Swim Lessons

A couple of weeks ago we started swim lessons. Emma has done so good and I have been so proud of her. At first she was a little apprehensive about it all including going under water but each lesson she's done better and now will go under all by herself. They are teaching them the basic concepts of swimming...kicking, going under, blowing bubbles, floating on their back, arm movements of swimming, jumping off the side and getting something under water and bringing it back up. We love her teachers and of course she loves them. Erin has to be her favorite teacher by far and she talks about her all the time! It's so cute! Here are some pictures Amber took for me. I have more I just keep forgetting my card which is why I'm so behind on blogging!
