Emma's 6th Birthday Party

This weekend we celebrated Emma's 6th birthday. I can not believe she's turning 6 and has just finished kindergarten. The last 6 years have flown by. This year's party was so much fun. She's always said what theme she wants but this year she planned everything. She started by making her invitation herself (all her idea). And ended with picking out the party favors herself as well. It was so much fun pulling this year's party off with it ALL being her ideas. Here are some pictures from her party.

Her invite she did...I adore it.

She was so proud of her cake!

Ellie couldn't resist jumping in with her.

We couldn't forget a picture with Zoe and Ellie together.

My sweet, sassy, fun loving, artsy 6 year old!
Some of the decorations.

The party favors!

I am blessed more then I deserve with these 2.

Last Day of Kindergarten

Emma was actually REALLY sick the last week of kindergarten. She had a stomach bug like I've never seen. She missed every day the last week and that made me sad. But not nearly as sad as I was that she was so sick. Somehow none of us got it but I would have gladly taken it from her if I could have. So we took these pictures the weekend after the last week of school.

I can't believe how much she's grown and changed. She truly amazes me every day with all that she has learned. We are so proud of her!!

Emma's Recital

2 weekends ago we had Emma's 3rd recital. She did such a good job and we were so proud of her! Since it was her 3rd year dancing she got a trophy at the end and got to say her name on stage. Here are some pictures from her day.

Getting ready to go! We curled her hair and it didn't last at all!

Off to the dentist we go...

We had our 6 month cleaning a couple of weeks ago. It was just me with the kids and they did great while I had my teeth cleaned. After they did mine, it was Emma's turn. She did a great job!! They always love going to the dentist because of the bag of goodies they get when we leave (a new toothbrush and floss).

Emma before school looking absolutely precious!

All ready for them to start!

Even trying to smile while she's getting her teeth cleaned!

Lunch with Emma Bean

A couple of weeks ago me and Brooks went to eat lunch with Emma. He was SO EXCITED because he got to go. He'd been once before but it was towards the beginning of the year. Every other time I had gone to eat with her he had been at school. I was off this day so I just kept him at home with me so he could go. As soon as we dropped her off that morning he wanted to know if it was lunch time. When I told him it wasn't, he wanted to know how long till lunch time. He then proceeded to ask me this about every 30 minutes to an hour until it was time to leave. It was absolutely precious.

Here is Emma before school that morning!

After all that excitement he was in no mood for a picture.
He was too busy acting like a big kid, eating and checking everything out.
