All Aboard…It’s Brooks’ 3rd Birthday

Saturday morning we celebrated Brooks’ 3rd birthday. He decided he wanted a Thomas the Train birthday party and was SO EXCITED about it. Here are some pictures from the party.

He is loving all his new presents and has been playing with them all weekend. We are so blessed with such sweet family and friends that came to join us in celebrating our little man!

Happy 3rd Birthday Brooks

I can not believe today is your 3rd birthday. I look back at the last 3 years and can't imagine where the time has gone or what we did before you were born. You bring so much joy to our lives. You are SO loving and SO laid back. You say things that amaze me everyday and you have been talking so well for so long I sometimes forget before today you were only 2. You love your daddy but you are a momma's boy. You love Emma so much and boy do you love Zoe. You are such a snuggler with us all including Zoe. We love you MORE then you could ever imagine. Here is a picture of us giving you your birthday present. I'm not sure your mommy and daddy knew what they were getting themselves into! Like Aunt Jessica said, it's something you give people you don't like (and that made me laugh out loud).

We decided to get some drums because he was using a Christmas tin for so long with ribbon around it to hang from his neck and spoons from the kitchen to play the drums. Now he has his first real drums. He loves them so much and has been playing them all day.

Halloween

Every Halloween we go to my mom's neighborhood and trick or treat. This year they sold their house and moved to the lake. So we decided to go to Nancy's (Ben's mom) neighborhood and my mom and them joined us. We had a great time. This year Amy, Mark, Braegan, Shirley, Jennifer, Brian and their kids joined us. Our fun filled weekend…

We had a super packed fun filled weekend this weekend. Friday night it started with a girls night out at my house. It’s been a while since we’ve all been together and we had so much fun sitting around, talking and laughing. Saturday morning I got up early to go to Kristen’s baby shower. I left there and met Ben and the kids and Greg (Ben’s dad) and Trish at the pumpkin patch at Mathews Manor for Greg’s birthday. We left it and went to a Halloween party for one of the girls Emma dances with and that was lots of fun. And to top the day/night off we went to another Halloween party 2 doors down where the kids had fun painting pumpkins. We got home after 9:00 Saturday night and we were all exhausted. Today was a little more slow pace with church this morning and then Leann’s baby tea this afternoon and lots of lots of chores! Here are some pictures from the pumpkin patch. We had so much fun!
