ReCreate 2012

The last weekend in September we had our annual women’s conference at church. It was awesome and we had a great time. The guest speakers were Darlene Zschech and Holly Wagnor. This year it was me, Amber and Amy. I was so EXCITED Amy decided to join us and she had a great time. Here is the only picture I got that turned out from the weekend. Color Run 2012

Labor Day weekend I did the Color Run with Amber and Amy. We had so much fun despite the fact that it was POURING down rain. I was drenched from head to toe and when I walked my shoes were squishy from so much water. It was by far the craziest thing I’ve done and I’m glad I did it. I did almost talk myself out of it for a minute or 2 before we started! Here are the pictures I got from the day.

Lunch with Emma Bean

I’ve been to eat lunch with Emma 2 different times now. It’s been so much fun to surprise her for lunch both times and see how they do things. Here are some pictures from both times.

Ben’s Baptism

A month ago Ben decided he wanted to get baptized. This was HUGE for me as I have wanted him to decide to do this for SO LONG.  To say this was a proud moment is an understatement. His mom had been baptized years ago but wanted to do it again as an adult and share the moment with him. Here are some pictures from the day.

Pumpkin Patch 2012

Today I got to go on Emma's field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We went to Old Baker's Farm in Harpersville and had a great time. The weather was absolutely beautiful today! Here are some pictures from our day.

Brooks - ism

Last week Ben was picking up Brooks from school. They have a big fountain out front and as they were walking up to it Ben said Brooks I am going to throw you in there. Brooks said no daddy I am not a penny! I thought it was too cute and wanted to make sure it made it on here so we wouldn't forget.
