Fun at the track!!!

It was absolutely beautiful today. Nothing like at the beginning of the week with 6 degree temps. One of our goals this year as a family is to be more active. So we took advantage of the 60 plus degree weather and hit the track. Ben, Emma and Brooks did a mile while I ran. I was so proud of them all. When we got finished Emma wanted to try stadiums. We did 5 of those! We are hoping to do this at least twice a week this year. They always see me go to the gym but never get to go so hopefully this will help instill long term healthy habits for them both! Here are some pictures I took!

Happy Halloween

The weather this year was less then great for trick or treating. It was unseasonably warm (which was good) but with that came the threat of rain and bad weather. We decided to start our trick our treating at the church since they moved it indoors and then head back and do the neighborhood in case it started raining which it did about 5 houses in. The kids had fun though so that's all that matters. Amy, Mark, Braegan, Shirley, Tiffany, Sam, Shelby, Carter and Makenzie joined us this year.

School Fun with Emma

Today I headed to the school for all kinds of fun with Emma's class. We started with a pumpkin investigation where we measures it, cleaned it out and counted all 520+ seeds, weighed it and carved it. 

Then it was off to lunch we went!

After lunch we headed back to her class for some Halloween math games. 

I had so much fun spending time with her and her class. It was definitely a treat for us both!!

Fall Festival with Friends

Sunday one of the local churches was having a fall festival and Tiffany invited us to join them. We had so much fun and got to do a lot before it started to rain. Here are some pictures I took.

Emma's 50th Day of 1st Grade

Emma's school always celebrates the 50th day of school and this year 1st grade is going all out. Here are pictures of Emma Bean.

Clyde's Weekend with Brooks

Brooks' class has a class cow and he gets to go home with a different kid each weekend. We started the weekend out with a bang, with Brooks wanting Clyde to do everything and then it dwindled down. I tried to get Clyde to go with us on all his outings but Brooks said he wanted to stay home. :) Here are some pictures of them Friday night.

Saturday we had our last away game. It was yucky but we had a great time cheering on the Huskies. They won that game so it's possible we made it to the playoffs.

Playdate with Friends and some Auburn Football

Saturday Tiffany and Sam invited us over to watch Auburn play Texas A & M and what a game!! It was awesome! The kids had SO MUCH FUN! They jumped on their trampoline, played school, colored pictures and played dress up. Here are a few pictures I took.

Spend the night fun

Saturday night Roxana came to spend the night with us. I didn't get many pictures because we were busy hopping from one thing to another. We played outside, painted pumpkins, played inside, etc. Here are some pictures I did get. They had to sleep in the tent of course ;).

I'm so glad we've stayed friends with Roxana, John and Jenny. I hope Emma and Roxana stay friends forever because their friendship is so sweet. Emma went and spent the night with Roxana the week before and was dying to have her back over to our house!

Turn the Park Pink Day

Our town does a Turn Pink Day (for breast cancer) and that was this week so Turn the Park Pink day was Saturday. The girls had pink ribbons and pink pom poms for the game.

So blessed to be part of a community that does so much for things like breast cancer! It truly is amazing all the support our community has to try and fight such an ugly disease!
